Back in February, Storm Airsoft reached out to me asking if I could help them design a bullpup sniper rifle to house their new internal mechanism- of course I said yes. They had me at bullpup.

The constraint was that the whole body wasn’t allowed to be more than 2, at most 3 parts to keep the molding costs low. It was quite tricky to make it visually seem like it’s made of multiple parts interlocking together, while actually it’s not.

This was a fun project for me as it’s right in my comfort zone, and it was good practice to design around internal systems, which came in really handy working with Crosman a few months later, designing foam dart blasters.
