Game Face Trion - Foam Dart Blaster

In early 2021 I got the opportunity to work with Game Face and design their debut professional tier foam dart blaster from the ground up.

It was supposed to look grounded, yet a bit sci-fi, while still obviously looking like a (serious) toy. It had to accept AR15 style stocks and pistol grips for optimal customization.

It was an awesome project during which I’ve learned a lot, from product design to the product development pipeline and everything in between.

With this post I’ll share some bits of the process with nutshell sized descriptions.
