LMR-04 - Linear Motor Rifle

The LMR-03 is an advanced electromagnetic weapon designed by Decimal Arms for both planet side and zero gravity engagements. 
Unlike other weapons, it fires slugs of high density alloys, such as tungsten carbide and depleted uranium, at velocities up to several times the speed of sound capable of penetrating the toughest body armor.

After several years of trusty service, Decimal Arms has hired a new head of design and updated the design, now separated into an OICW and an assault rifle.

The OICW’s main purpose is, in combination with high explosive air burst ammunition, to take out lightly armored enemies trying to hide behind cover. Emphasis on trying. 
The assault rifle fires the above mentioned alloy slugs. Utilizing new materials and technology, we were able to shorten the barrel length of the assault rifle, without losing a significant amount of effective range or penetration.
